It's disheartening to see how many students these days have absolutely zero school pride. They don't bother about their community, they don't get involved in programs, and they just seem apathetic. It's like they've disregarded what it means to be part of a group and cheer for their fellow students. This lack of spirit is negative to the entire school atmosphere.
This Hat Isn't Right
Man, this cap just won't cooperate! I've tried to adjust it, but here it still feels small. Maybe my head is just not meant for this. I guess it goes to show you that sometimes match your needs.

Not My Alma Mater
When I hear the words "alma mater|my old school|the place where I learned}", it doesn't bring back feelings of warmth and nostalgia. For me, it's a unfamiliar concept. Maybe because my experience there were quite unique, or perhaps I simply haven't had the time to reminisce. Whatever the reason, that phrase doesn't have the same weight for me as it does for others.
It's not that I haven't appreciated my time at school. It was a valuable chapter, just not one that feels familiar in the way many people describe.
Perhaps it's because I discovered my passions away from the traditional school setting. Or maybe it's because my memories are defined by unique experiences. Whatever the case, "Not My Alma Mater|My School Is Different|This Isn't My Old School", and that's perfectly okay.
I Am Bleeding Blue
The realm doesn't understand that I bleed a different color. They glare with curiosity as I reveal the fact of my nature. My blood is a sign of {somethingelse that they can't imagine. They label me as other, but I am simply different.
The Concept of School Spirit? Nah
Seriously, school/the whole idea of/that thing they call "school spirit/spirit week/pep rallies" is about as appealing/relevant/interesting to me as a moldy sandwich/root canal/trip to the dentist. I'd rather be practicing my guitar/reading a good book/taking a nap than wearing my school colors and chanting slogans. Give me brains over brawn any day!
- My teachers/My friends/Even my family all think I'm weird/missing out/crazy, but whatever. They can keep their traditions.

Here For All The Snacks
Let's be real, sometimes gathering/ chilling/hanging out with people/ friends/squad is all about the spread/ feast/ bounty! I mean, who can resist a good platter/ selection/ assortment of tasty treats/ goodies/ munchies? It's like a buffet/ an oasis/ the promised land of deliciousness/ yumminess/ pure snacking heaven. Give me cookies any day! I totally prioritize/live for/am here for those snacks/ goodies/ bites that make a gathering/ hangout/ party truly unforgettable.
